Porsche Just Unleashed an Electric Monster: The Cayenne Electric Is Pure Madness

Porsche finally snapped and revealed the fully electric Cayenne in a way that shook the entire automotive world. This isn’t the old Cayenne with a battery slapped inside—it’s a ground-up electric beast engineered to terrify competitors.

Two versions, both insane: dual motors, AWD, air suspension, 108 kWh battery, 800V architecture. Fast charging? Up to 400 kW. Regenerative braking that blasts 600 kW back into the battery. Even the Taycan would side-eye these numbers.

Charging is a joke—an aggressive one: 10% to 80% in 16 minutes. Ten minutes plugged in = 320 km of extra range. Most smartphones can’t charge that fast.

Performance? The base model already flexes hard: 402 hp, 435 hp with Launch Control, 0–100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, 642 km WLTP range.

But the Turbo Electric? That’s where sanity ends. 1,140 hp, 1500 Nm, 2.5 seconds to 100 km/h. That’s not an SUV; it’s an electric missile with doors. The Push-to-Pass function adds 174 hp for 10 seconds—basically a temporary “go stupid” button.

The design stays true to Cayenne DNA but adds aerodynamic tricks: frameless windows, active air flaps, wild rear aeroblades. Efficiency meets aggressive styling.

Inside, it’s a tech carnival: curved OLED center display, optional AR head-up display with an absurd 87-inch projection area, passenger display options, and—miracle—Porsche kept real physical buttons for basic controls.

Pricing is very Porsche: €105,200 for the base model, €165,500 for the Turbo. If you’ve got the cash, prepare to fly.
